June 5-7, 2017

The 14th Graybill Conference will be held June 5 – 7, 2017 on the campus of Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado. The focus of the 14th Graybill Conference will be on Statistical Genomics and Genetics. The program consists of invited talks, a contributed poster session and student poster competition. It is the aim of the conference to bring together a wide range of researchers, practitioners, and graduate students whose work is related to statistical genomics and genetics in a wide sense. Topics of interest include:

  • Big Data in Genomics and Genetics
  • Copy Number Variation
  • Disease Gene Mapping
  • Epigenetics
  • Genetic Networks
  • Integrative Genomics and Genetics
  • Longitudinal Genomic Studies
  • Meta-Analysis
  • Microbiome Analysis
  • Methylation
  • mRNA/miRNA Interactions
  • Pathway-Based Genomics Single Cell RNA Sequencing
  • Statistical Genomics

The conference will bring together some of the top researchers in the above areas, and the topics of the presentations will range from general overviews of relevant statistical material to more specialized presentations of current developments. The focused yet relaxed nature of the conference will allow for concentrated discussion and interaction among the participants. Following the conference, there will be opportunities for various outdoor activities in the area.

The conference is co-sponsored by the Department of Statistics at Colorado State University and the ASA Section on Statistics in Genomics and Genetics. The Department of Statistics has organized the Graybill Conferences annually since 2001, and each year focuses on a different topic.
